This second spot was another challenge creatively because we knew we only had time with Linsey for a couple of days in California and we could not have access to the Lucas Oil Crusader Monster Jam truck. So we thought of ideas on tying in the wide range of specialty products Lucas Oil produces with a driver who specializes in a particular type of driving. The result was this “fish out of water” idea with the backdrop being Lucas’ own plant in Corona, CA. Director:D. Paul Hoffman, Writer/Producer: Todd Huffman, DP: Keith Martin.

When Lucas Oil called us up to tell us they wanted some spots developed and produced for their Monster Jam Driver Linsey Weenk we said “Great!…what’s the catch?” They responded…”No catch,can only shoot Linsey during the press day for the Monster Jam in Minneapolis and you only have a couple of hours. Oh, yeah, and he can’t drive the truck”. No problem. PDM developed and shot this spot in a few hours with Linsey (Great guy to work with!) and mixed it with footage supplied by Feld Motor Sports. Jennifer Fitzgerald For Fullerton City Council Campaign-2012

For the Presidential Election cycle of 2012, PDM was brought on for the local City Council race which had three open seats being contested. Jennifer Fitzgerald was not one of the front runners but she was fairly well-known and well-liked in town. Many of her fellow candidates were involved in heated campaigns, mud-slinging, etc. PDM’s job was not to show her above the fray but as a responsible, concerned business owner and mother in a town she loves. A sit down interview turned into five short videos that we called “Conversations with Jennifer”. A :15 tv spot was also cut from this. Lucas Oil Power Steering Stop Leak – Grandma Rally :60

For a couple of years, we have had this idea to have a little ole lady from Pasadena do some rally style driving for one of Lucas Oil’s many products. We got the chance this spring with their Power Steering Stop Leak product line. This was shot in 2 days with action sequences in the dirt on the first day at Chino Hills State Park and the city and church sequences the 2nd day in Fullerton, CA. Red cameras used. (30 and 60 sec versions)
